Title: My Quadcopter Build
Post by: sudhakar_yg on September 05, 2013, 12:29:30 AM
Friends,
After almost a two months of R&D & components collection, I have finally completed my quadcopter build.
KK2.0 multicopter board, Turnigy plush 30A ESC, DT750 motor, 10*4.5 props, FSTH9X, FSR8B & self made aluminium frame are the components used.
Some of the threads on the forum, helped me to get the understanding of how to build it. Thank you all for contributing your experience to these threads helping many starters like me to get a very good understanding.

I still have a lot of tuning work to be done, will seek your expert advice for same.
Attached are some photos of maiden flight. Will post the video shortly.

Once again thank you all for support   :salute:

Cheers,
Sudhakar.

cute looking quad! since it has a small motor to motor distance, it will be able to flip pretty easily.... just putting it out there... ;D;D

Thanks Aniket, Yes the motor to motor distance is small (450mm). But I am still learning to fly it, it might take some time for me to do such aerobics.

Nice build Sudhakar. BTW what is the total final weight of the quad?
Have you flashed your KK2 board & the ESCs?

Thanks meet2ami. Total AUW is 1.3kg.  Yes I have flashed the kk2.0 to FW 1.6. But have been using the ESC with original FW.
