hi friends,
i buy a new naza m lite in x450 frame with fly sky 9ch Tx - RX.
i have a one problem with my quad, when i bind a quad with Tx and give a throttle up ..motor start running.
and if i am turn of the Tx but still motor running .
why these happens motor has to stop running.    i am flying in manual mode.

this happens coz you quad switch to failsafe mode ... this is not an issue. so don't worry..

Turn of the Tx Huh?
you should turn off transmitter only after unplugging battery from quad

now to turn off the motors(disarm) after you land, you can do the same Tx stick combination, that you use to arm your motors .
In attitude mode, the motors will stop on it's own, when the throttle is kept below 10% for 3 seconds.

@ sooraj -   i turn off because , i am checking a condition in manual mode .. if quad lost a signal then what happen...


@ gunnu - fail safe is work in manual mode ? ... and yeah i also checked with naza assist software , when i switch of a tx its never go in to a failsafe mode.. its there only in manual mode..
is these normal or have to do some setting ?

hmmm. also works in manual mode.. this feature allow you to protect your quad form crashing... so no matter in which mode you are flying it will work.. ( just like our immune system )

Well it won't go to failsafe because these normal receivers (flysky, HK , turnigy) output the last data from transmitter continuously once signal is lost - so naza can't understand signal loss .

but sooraj i test with turnigy 9xr and turnigy i10.. when i switch off my transmitter it switch to failsafe mode....

if you want to know weather it switch to failsafe mode or holding the last input from transmitter.. check led warning .. when you switch switch off the radio check led warning if it start blinking yellow light continuously.. that means it switch to failsafe mode.. but if the red or green led is blinking . that means it is holding last input....

As I said, NAZA won't switch to failsafe automatically, if we loss signal on a Flysky, Turnigy, or Hk radio .

Receivers like FlySky don't have a failsafe so the flight controller has no way of knowing that the connection has been lost since the RX outputs the last received signal. That is one of the main reasons I went with a 9XR over a 9X. Putting a FrSky module in the 9XR allows you to set a failsafe for each channel individually.
There was a method described for failsafe on older radios (low throttle method) though I am not sure if it will work.
