Title: Need help with first quadcopter ( QK100 ARF Indoor Kit / Hobbymate Q100 Quad )
Post by: Bilal on February 26, 2017, 11:31:40 PM
Hello everyone,

Am returning to this hobby after a break of over two years. I decided to build a micro quadcopter because of the space limitations.

So I have selected the QK100 ARF Indoor Kit offered by Satya Sir ( http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/qk100-arf-indoor-kit/ ) . But the thing that am not sure about is, will this be compatible with FlySky CT6b TX Rx that I have or not?

The description on the quadkopters website as well as on couple other websites says that this FC ( F3 EVO http://f4k3url/2lYKs2M ) requires some SBUS Satellite receivers which am not aware of.

Quadkopters.com offers a SBUS receiver ( http://f4k3url/2lUeioA ) but am not sure if it will work with my CT6b transmitter or not, someone please help me.

@satyagupta sir, if yuo come across this post, please reply.

Regards
Bilal

Hi Bilal, so this kit comes with controller which does not comes with any in built receiver. You can use any receiver that supports PPM or iBus since it gives you 2 types of input wires

1. for PPM
2. for iBus

And back to main question, i dont think CT6B supports PPM or iBus, :/ so it might not be possible with the receiver that you have.

No this wont work as Ct6b is by Flysky and it wont directly talk to FRsky receiver, You need a module to make this work!!

@bilal if you dont want to invest in another transmitter you might want to consider another kit if you still havent bought the one you mentioned.

well I haven't ordered the kit yet, and I definitely am not in a mood to invest in another transmitter as if for now, I already have CT6b and TGY-9X and they are enough for my requirements.

I'll be glad if someone could suggest a BNF kit or ARF kit that i can buy. I just need something to fly, can't keep my hands off my Tx anymore :-P

Thankx Ashbash

regards

Buy the ARF Tricopter kit or the ARF 220 quad kit on Quadkopters.
These seem quite good.

Happy flying :thumbsup:

@ashbash
Thanx for the heads up brother, I believe you are referring to the kit sold by rcMumbai ( https://rcmumbai.com/multi-rotors-parts/rtf-pnf-arf/eachine-tiny-qx80-bnf-kit.html ) , I just checked with them, sadly its out of stock. If you know someone else selling these kits, please update me.

On a different note fellas, would it be safe if I order one of these micro quads on banggood.com ?? I've seen some that are compatible with my Tx, but they have FPV VTx onboard and am not sure if customs would clear them or not. All inputs needed. There are some really great kits on banggood, including brushless ones

If you really want something that bad, you could by the JJRC H4, or the cx-10 mini, these are good for time pass.

@Bilal
Yes that the kit QX I have but its with FRsky receiver what you need is with FLysky receiver.
These days I am here horrific stories of Quads getting stucked in customs so I am not sure if you should go ahead with Banggoods. However its like taking a chance. Try and find a kit here so you can buy locally.

Hey there @bilal
You could use a ppm encoder module for pwm to ppm.
They are only for Rs.530
Check them out on quadkopters
