Title: need wiring help for 4 in1 esc
Post by: Imperial fire on August 10, 2018, 05:24:23 PM
everything is working fine.
just need to get voltage reading on osd ( only voltage i dont care about current draw it needs to be callib too much anyways)

my 4 in 1 esc( yes it has a current sensor) has  a white signal wire meant to be connected to the f.c/
where do i connect it ?
i have currently connected it to the rx1 pad and assigned port 1 as esc sensor, but no use! ( marked with a green circle)
do i need to do any resource reallocation in cli ? if so whats the 'call sign' for current sensor?

or am i to connect it on some other pad?
yes i have enabled all settings in betaflight correctly i just need to know where to solder this!!!
thanks for your time and help!

Make sure you're using the right board/firmware on Betaflight, the voltage pins/scaling factors are setup by default.

Which board/ESC are you using?

The ESC outputs are usually VBAT (Lipo +), Motor1, Motor2, Motor3, Motor4, Curr, GND

I'm guessing the green wire is Curr output, which is a 0-3.3V signal from the current sense chip on the ESC board.
This wire is needed if you want current/mah data to the FC, connects to pad usually named as CURR.
