Max amp draw of the motor at full throttle? Current required =max amp draw of 1motor @full throttle x 4. Current capacity of the lipo is given by (mah capacity/1000)xdischarge rate. Just make sure that the current capacity of the battery is greater than the required current. Hope this helps. :-D

So the max. current is ~16amp. Therefore the total current that you would be drawing is 16x4=64amp. So choose a battery whose total continuous max. output is greater than 64amp. For example, for a 2800mAh 25C battery, the total continuous max.current output is (2800/1000)x25=70amp, which is clearly greater than the total current requirement. Hence, this one would be ok for use. To reduce weight (and cost), you can go for lower mAh capacity ones but with higher C-rating.  Grin

PS - RPM stands for Revolution Per Minute. So its either RPM or R/min   Grin

Sorry for that rpm/minute, i just copied, the table and pasted it here, didnt pay attention to that.

According to me the table suggest the power drawn by motor depending on the prop used. So a rough estimation leads me to 12A current for my 3 blade prop. So according to my estimation I need 2200/20C power.
 Am I right?

I am so concerned because, I read it somewhere shouldn't have a battery of higher mah or discharge rating.

Thank You for your help  Smiley

Hi,
If u have followed my above replies properly then u would be able to notice that 12x4=48amp, while your battery capacity is (2200/1000)x20=44amp. BATTERY CAPACITY is lesser than CURRENT REQUIREMENT.
Not Recommended.

Either go for higher mAh capacity or C-rating.  Grin
