Title: One motor not spinning up Post by: IshanK on July 09, 2016, 06:39:06 PM So after a botched hand launch my mini parrot rolling spiders rear left hand side motor stopped working completely.
I opened it and managed to getting it spinning again. Somewhat During take off it would just flip to one side (Im assuming that buggy motor isnt providing enough thrust) Also the motor doesnt spin unless i give it a slight nudge and im not sure but it feels slightly under powered compared to the other 3. Ive tried most of the things i could find on the net with no luck. Any suggestions? Would it be possible to get a replacement motor in India? I don't have any idea about the parrot products but i think you should go with the specifications. If you can share them here then please share. And i am sure you can find the compatible thing.

(Ive attached a picture for your reference) Title: Re: One motor not spinning up Post by: rchobbyaddict on August 07, 2016, 04:52:06 PM It is always recommended to use the same motors as there will be an RPM difference and also the fitting might not be the same. All these micro brushed motors are just snuggly fit in the frames and have to be of the same size otherwise they might not fit length or diameter wise. Just check the size and if it is the same, might as well give it a try.

But you need to replace all 4 of them and wiring must be taken care because spinning direction may change. |
