there are two types propellers (you call it rotors Huh?) in quadcopter, clockwise spinning and anti clockwise spinning. why your quad doesn't lift is because you has not correctly put propellers.
but if it lifts, and is moving to one direction, that is the correct mouning of props, But then there can be many reasons for such a behavior. for helping you out I need more information :
which is your flight controller ?
if you can pls post a close up clear pic of your quad (top view).

@shadowstriker,
Try this:
1. Move left stick to top after switching on
2. After beep move it to bottom
3. After beep, move both sticks to the bottom left hand corner for one or two seconds till lights stop flashing.

This solved my problems. Hope it solves yours.

Heli=Diff parts flying together in close formation

Hi shadowstriker,

Make sure that quad is on level surface and the battery connection is not touching the ground.

Then you follow steps mentioned by kk iyer sir, and this should definately fix the issue.

Also ensure that you install correct prop on each motor, look at some pics online to get an idea. As much as I know the prop should be identical diagnaly but can be of diff color.

You can call me if you need any help 09811171361
