Title: Quad-13 (A Beginners Quad-copter)
Post by: karan.k on October 06, 2013, 01:51:56 AM
This is my college project, it is self funded by a group of 11 guys. This is our first attempt in the field of flying and its been a interesting experience so far. We have spent around 11k and arranging funds to buy rx-tx and battery so that we can continue our project  :help:

Parts used by far -

1. Carbon fiber frame
the main reason for using a prebuilt frame was that it was very light weight and optimized to be balanced and sturdy enough to carry all the weight.

2. BC2826-13 1000KV Outrunner Brushless Motor x 4

3. Hobbyking Flyfun(Pentium) 30A Brusless ESC x 4

4. KK Multicopter 5.5 Controller
the most popular multicopter controller

5. All other small parts like power circuit board, bullets, high-amp wire etc.

 Parts left to buy --

1.  Flysky 2.4G CT6B TX 6CH Radio control

2.  A 2200mah 11.1V 20C/40C

3.  1S-8S Low Voltage Alarm Indicator.

4.  Battery charger

A big thanks to hobbyandyou.com for the parts  {:)}

if you haven't yet bought a remote, buy the rcb6i from rcbazaar. it is totally worth the money!
