Did you tested the GPS and failsafe..? I built a naza hex recently..  but a bit scared to test the GPS and fail safe...

Hi arun

This isn't my first project with Naza. Already finished a dozen.

Go for gps, it's cool. I always prefer flying in place which aren't much crowded when using gps and use a proper tx with two 3 position switches.

Just to add on RCBHARAT's comment, do prefer a radio which has fail safe function available on channel 5/6/7/8.

You can trust DJI.

Good luck.

Yes.
I always feel that failsafe is something which should be used when you really feel you cannot get the machine back.
I always setup failsale by turning the tranamitter off.

Could you tell us more about your payload for a flight time of 18 minutes? Do you have more details on payload capacity of the craft?

Not a problem for me to share a few extra details, but I have to ask my client if it is ok for him.

Anyways could you please let us know what is the reason for asking?
If you need one please write to us at rcbharat@gmail.com, can pass you the complete details.

@spherehobbies

Please let me know if you guys are the official distributors/dealers for dji in India, as I searched for dji indian delears couple of months back to buy a few naza's and couldn't find any official distributor in India on dji website.

@ RCBharat

Yes, we are officially dealer for DJI in India (if you write DJI, they would confirm).

Per DJI policy, it would take some time before they publish Sphere Hobbies on their web site as dealer/distributor. However, they always transfer us all the queries of Southeast Asia.

Cool build.
What material did you use to build the landing skids?
I suppose its a kind of plastic? Is it good enough for hard landings?
I am building a hex and need help with building the landing gear.

if you land hard, your aluminium booms will bend. I think its dangerous. Why did you choose this type of landing skid?

Rahul
The landing gear is made out of 4mm fiber glass. Which is hard enough if the quad falls from 15-20 feet also.

Anyways I don't land hard, so no worry of aluminium bending/breaking.;D

There are 3 center plates all made from 2mm fiber glass, laser cut.
