Title: Quad landing stands V2.0 Post by: parichya.gautam on December 05, 2014, 02:59:28 AM SO I thought that when someone said that on a hard landing, the skits I had earlier, will bend due to the impact, I re-designed it, and it is impact resistant now.

my 2 cents..... motor mounts may break....in case of rough landing.... consider mounting the landing gear on the boom itself. I know they seem that they will break, but i've tried it a bit bow and they're pretty stable ..

I believe the product from rcsportz is for a plane. you can anyways hack it to add it to a quad, but a simple smiley ball will solve most of the hard landing problems.
