Hi friends,
I am planning to make a 450 size Quad but have some confusions in choosing the parts for it...

I have decided to use the Nanowii board from HK

Quad parts selection - need suggestions

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__22322__MultiWii_NanoWii_ATmega32U4_Micro_Flight_Controller_USB_GYRO_ACC.html

But the frame ,esc, motor are just confusing me....

Can I choose the kit from RC timer ??

Or suggest me stuff from HK...

The quad is going to be a beginner one...and may be upgradable to FPV with GoPro in future.

Thanks in advance ...

Hi. Is this your first quad? What would be the AUW? Approx. Value? Since you have stated that this would be a beginner build, i would suggest bell motors swinging 8x4.5 props drawing 10A max. Check out AX2308N 1200Kv motor from HK. I also suggest that you 'build' the frame instead of buying it as you could tailor it according to your specific requirements.

Veloci sir,,,this is my first one...and I don't have any targets...or specs...the only spec that I have is 450mm size and should be able to do FPV with GOPRO in future.

Please give your suggestions..on the kit or your own config of motor ,esc,frame...(HK)

Fly High

Santhosh You go for a reptile frame and some 1000kv motors like 2836/8
3s powered..
reptile frame can be upgraded with a gopro latter easily with perfect cg..
What ever you are a beginner you can fly it easily... Dont be in a hurry take lots of time to build and test.. You will succeed..
Or come here yo my place we will fly it.. Wink
If you want i have a reptile quad build recently with same motors and KK2... Flying good with default kk2 settings...
Build it with respect to your budget..
cal me for any suggetions.. All the best

"If it's man-made and it flies, it will crash."

well, if its not your first quad then make your own combo.
or if it is your first, use this kit.
I saw vids on youtube and it works really well for that price.
