@anup3969: You said you are a beginner. Don't you think building a quadcopter is taking two steps at a time. Don't want to dishearten you but it is very difficult for a newbie to get adapted to multicopters. You may end up in breaking or facing problem in flying. Learn some flying firstly on a simulator and then on a basic airplane. After that you can surely jump to quadcopter.
I don't want to demoralize you but telling you the real truth. Instead of getting dispirit seeing your model crash/break why not gain confidence first on something more basic.

 Hats Off

Utkarsh bhai I disagree. I know many who started in quads and are happy they did.

Thats your view. It all depends on whether a person can work that much hard and get involved so much. Investing in multicopters is always expensive. And it feels disappointing to see it fall from just 1 feet leading to propeller damage, frame damage etc. Something somewhat similar happened with me so I have a experience of it. I'd seen many people quit from the hobby due to similar reasons.

Utkarsh, i started directly with multirotors. Till today i have 4 set of multirotors and i plan to make more, and i still dont know how to fly a plane or heli. Still i can manage to fly multi very nicely. So i dont think for any beginner need any experience in any RC field to start with any kind of models (plane, heli, multi) yes cost of damage is high in multi i agree but these days we have some kits which are not very expensive.

Thats just my view.

Re:

It depends how much place you to test planes. I stay in Mumbai so planes are difficult. So I am starting with quad.
