So long flight time is your requirement?
Title: Re: Quadrotor Wiring for HK Multirotor V3 Board Post by: Pikle6 on June 01, 2012, 08:58:14 PM yes i was hoping for a longer flight time. since i am probably going to be buying a gopro for it or another cheaper similar quality solution i would like to have some extra time.
the all up calculated weight comes to about 1099.8 grams my NTM PD 2826 give about 652 grams of thrust at 10A with a 9x5 so i guess hovering at half or bit more stick should be fine Subbu Title: Re: Quadrotor Wiring for HK Multirotor V3 Board Post by: Dharmik on June 01, 2012, 09:05:30 PM Nice to hear from you. Wish you all the best. Hows NTM motors?

by the way i have followed your quadrotor from bharuch thread and you seem to have done a very fine job there congratulations on that. i am using this frame http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=20947 (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=20947) and i plan to replace the landing skids with something more durable any ideas(i think you mentioned somewhere about the hiller skids) Subbu Title: Re: Quadrotor Wiring for HK Multirotor V3 Board Post by: satyagupta on June 01, 2012, 09:29:31 PM subbu bro i have used this frame and trust me they are not good for quads with more than 800gms.. the moment i moved the stick to more than 50%, due to vibration 2 arms broked :banghead: :banghead:
Again its my opinion choice is yours   Title: Re: Quadrotor Wiring for HK Multirotor V3 Board Post by: Dharmik on June 01, 2012, 09:35:32 PM Yeah bro it's hiller skids but battery placement is an issue. Needs bit bigger skids. I am thinking to make something like this
