Looks perfect setup. So long flight time is your requirement?

VTOL - Vertical Take Off & Landing

yes i was hoping for a longer flight time. since i am probably going to be buying a gopro for it or another cheaper similar quality solution i would like to have some extra time.

the all up calculated weight comes to about 1099.8 grams
my NTM PD 2826 give about 652 grams of thrust at 10A with a 9x5
so i guess hovering at half or bit more stick should be fine

VTOL - Vertical Take Off & Landing

hi dharmik, thanks, i shall have them with me by Tuesday i can further comment on them then but as far as i have heard on rcg and hobbyking forums they seem to do the job fine

by the way i have followed your quadrotor from bharuch thread and you seem to have done a very fine job there congratulations on that.

i am using this frame http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=20947

and i plan to replace the landing skids with something more durable any ideas(i think you mentioned somewhere about the hiller skids)

subbu bro i have used this frame and trust me they are not good for quads with more than 800gms.. the moment i moved the stick to more than 50%, due to vibration 2 arms broked Bang Head Bang Head

Again its my opinion choice is yours  Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Yeah bro it's hiller skids but battery placement is an issue. Needs bit bigger skids. I am thinking to make something like this

hi satyagupta i will surely keep that in mind, might even add some reinforcements at vibration sensitive areas like the arm joint at the central plate.

i am also looking into a few vibration dampening methods for the quad will post them when i begin with my build log

ahh +1 for that Dharmik bro Thumbs Up Thumbs Up but goodluckbuy is not that good. very poor customer service, none of your mails will be responded. They process your order after 10 days and many more.

I understand that you are just pointing towards the kind of skid that we can use Thumbs Up, but hearing goodluckbuy Bang Head Bang Head my blood just boils up recently one of my purchase came to me after good 50 days i placed order Angry Angry
