Hello Everyone
Its been a long time since I posted a build thread on rcindia. I was making a new quad so decided to post about it here which would also be an entry for the Quad Making comeptition by rcmumbai.  Grin Grin
I decided to go with my own design as this would be me freedom to place things as I need. I designed my own plates using coreldraw and got them cut from 6mm acrylic sheet for now because I couldn't
use CF as the CNC service by Quadkopters is not functional for some time. As soon as it will start Ill get CF plates.
I'm using 13mm aluminium for booms.

I am using the new Tarot ZYX-M Flight controller and I must say that its amazing. the build quality is superb except the thin wires which might break easily if not looked after properly.
This thing is amazingly stable and GPS lock is rock solid. I am very much impressed with is flight controller.

I have made a separate tray for the batteries. This quad will be powered by 2 2200 mah batteries. Also the plate is vibration dampened and has holes for mounting tarot gimbal rail system.

Some Progress...

Assembled the whole quad. Placed all the wires between the 2 plates.

You can see the tarot rails are mounted to the vibration dampened plate.
