I am confused between these 2 servo which one to use guys? any suggestion? :headscratch: :headscratch:

Things left to decided:

FC: either Flip32+ or Naze32 Acro

Flip32+ will give you the benefit of altitude hold. For the servo I would suggest to use a metal gear servo. What tilt mechanism are you using?

Satya sir even I had made a tri and had got a metal gear servo ..It worked but it wore off after some time so I suggest you to not go with it.. Its up to.you... you know better than me
And sir are you make the tilt mechanism or just getting the tilt mech as David's ? If you are please tell me from where do you get it in india ...may be useful ..and last question (sorry) what's the frame size?
 :hatsoff: :salute: ;D

Darshan, i dont have much experience with tri so i am noob too :D About the tilt mech i would be using one that one of by supplier have sent. I will share pictures once i get it.

I would selling those on the QK store too..

About the size i have not yet decided.

Flip32+ will give you the benefit of altitude hold. For the servo I would suggest to use a metal gear servo. What tilt mechanism are you using?

Both have same hardware IMO and same firmware so i don't think it would matter a lot. I am using a ready to use tilt mechanism.

But flip32+ has a barometer onboard right? Whereas the naze32 acro doesn't. correct me in I am wrong.

Yes Mr. Ved , you are right. Both the flip and naze boards have 2 versions. Naze32acro and Flip32 have only gyro and accelerometer where as Naze32 10dof and Flip32+ has gyro, Acc, , baro and mag sensors on board.

Naze 32 has 2 models FunFly (the basic version) and Acro or 10DOF (which comes with Baro and compass)

As pointed by Sooraj

That yaw mechanism looks tough. When will you be getting it on the store satya sir?

Yes if it works good for me. i.e after testing.

Got back with the tri build today.

Step 1 was setting up motors and electronics on the frame:
(http://s28.postimg.org/jwikmcnkp/20150711_084835.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/jwikmcnkp/)

(http://s28.postimg.org/bpv68imvt/20150711_084839.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/bpv68imvt/)

Would be using these as motor mounts, got the idea from Flite Test its good, cut from 5mm acrylic sheet.
(http://s28.postimg.org/t5pca7luh/20150711_084942.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/t5pca7luh/)

All assembled together. Now time to add the FC and configure it. BTW i would be using Flip32+ (10DOF) version with this tri as FC

(http://s28.postimg.org/h53w9heft/20150711_102357.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/h53w9heft/)

(http://s28.postimg.org/kyxcimvrt/20150711_102405.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/kyxcimvrt/)

I am using this video by David as reference to configure and tune
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY1EJpPZgSc

I am using the normal 9G servo like this: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__662__HXT900_9g_1_6kg_12sec_Micro_Servo.html

Which i think is not a good choice  :headscratch: since i am not good with tricopter i would like to know opinion about others who have experience in tri.

The servo does not comes back to centre if i move the yaw to extreme left and leave the stick. I have to move the stick to right to get it back to center. But it does not happens if i move the stick to extreme right, if i move the stick to extreme right and leave the servo comes back to centre.

I have a EMAX Metal Digital servo but the head of that servo is bit small compare to TGY09 and does not fits the tilt mechanism.

BTW this is what i meant by head
(http://s17.postimg.org/ey95rp6mj/servo.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/ey95rp6mj/)
I might be wrong but i am not aware of the correct word for that part

Any help with the servo would be much appreciated :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

servo not coming back to center - this should not be a big problem
leave it as it is and fly.

in flight if the rotor is tilted then the craft will yaw , sensing the yaw the
gyro will auto correct.

just make sure that the gyro compensates in the right direction.
