Title: SDI FEW-250 mini quad build log
Post by: Rengarajan on December 09, 2016, 12:56:06 PM
Hello everyone,

I had built a Q450 based quad a couple of years back and had several hours of enjoyable flights. That was just a basic KK2.1.5 based quad with a basic 4 channel HK Tx.

Now bitten by the FPV bug, decided to build a mini quad. Most components are here and will be starting the build this weekend. Here is what I am using -

Frame - SDI FEW-250
Motors - SunnySky x2204s 2300kv
ESC - Emax 'Simon' series 12A
FC - Naze32 Version6 Full
Tx - FlySky FS-TH9X-B
Rx - FS-R8B

Now the questions that I am searching answers for -

1. What firmware should I use - Baseflight/Cleanflight/Betaflight?
2. What firmware for the Tx - ER9X/OpenTx?
3. I am planning to upgrade the Tx module to FrSky. Which one DJT/XJT? Please also recommend a compatible Rx
4. Please recommend FPV components

Will share my build and flying experience in this thread.

Thanks in advance.
