I have a KK mini board (https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingtm-kk-mini-multi-rotor-flight-control-board-36x36mm-30-5x30-5mm.html/?___store=en_us) and a fly sky CT6B TX and RX, after hooking up these both and following a setup video on youtube for a KK 2 board(motor layout, acc calibration and receiver test), in the video during the receiver test the KK board had some values for thr, ail e.t.c but in my KK mini board all these values show "No Signal".

I already did the binding, by connecting the signal to the ground in the BAT row on the RX and pressing the bind button on the TX, the LED stops blinking on the RX. Also do you have to bind the TX and RX every time you power the drone, because my RX doesn't power up until I short the signal and ground on BAT.

go to mode settings and select stick on self levelling option.Go to load motor layout and select your frame type. Finally perform esc callibration and accelerometer callibration.Carefully check the motor direction.I faced the same type of problem on my first build. After performing the binding process it was fixed.I am using fs i6 transmitter.

I don't think my RX is working properly because it doesn't turn on(no led) when I plug the battery on the drone, it only turns on when I use the binding cord and short the signal and ground on BAT(blinking led and when I press the bind button on the TX LED becomes solid), but still it shows no signal.

Hold the bind button on your transmitter and while holding it, turn on the transmitter. At that point, the flashing on the receiver should stop and the LED should turn solid red.Release the bind button, don’t turn off the transmitter yet.
Pull out the binding cable from the receiver.Your binding is complete.Power off your receiver.Power off your transmitter next

I tried your method and the LED turned solid red, but when I powered up the RX after binding there was no LED light in the RX, so I powered everything off and powered it on again but this time I used the binding cable and the LED was blinking, I am still getting the "no signal" message on the KK board, also it seems that the RX won't power on until the binding plug is connected.

YES!!!! it is working. Just followed the video and it worked perfectly, I think the reason it did not work before was that I turned on the RX first and then I turned on the TX.

Thank you sankhasubhra11

How do you set the switches on the TX as aux, so that I can set self-level and arm the KK board using the switches instead of using stick?
