I have been reading alot of posts on this forum and I am now completely confused. :help:

And Buy the rest from India?

and GPS. power module and gps stand seperatly if you dont have an sbus or cppm receiver you will need an encode. If you are using pixhawk first time then dont worry about telementry module now save it for later.

I bought my APM 2.8 set, including 433MHz telemetry from eBay and didn't face any issues with customs. However, there is always a risk of your package getting caught. With free shipping by registered airmail the risk shouldn't be very high but it is still down to luck. You could minimise the risk by placing one order for the Pixhawk, GPS etc. and a separate one with the telemetry modules so they are shipped separately.

Also, even if you are using the Pixhawk for the first time,I would suggest you get the telemetry module. It makes the setup simple, as you don't need to have any cables to your computer while doing the compass calibration etc. Also, if you have an Android phone you can use the telemetry radio with an OTG cable and the Tower app for flight planning, control, battery alerts etc.

Also, I would recommend the 433MHz telemetry kit as 915MHz lies in the mobile phone band in India.

Ask them to package the telemetry and rest of the stuff separately. You'll have to pay for extra packaging and shipping, but worth it.

If it goes through customs without a problem, then it will be delivered to your house. If it is held by customs then you will most probably need to go pick it up.

Just a last question .. His to pick it up ? 😚

If your tracking information shows "retention at customs" or something like that, then you will probably get a call from the post office about your package. If not, you will need to contact the post office yourself. Just see which branch has held your package, find their number online and give them a call.
