single axis pid tuning using string setup

Hi guys,
can anyone suggest me some tips on how to tune single axis for quadrotor on string setup ?
Check attached image for setup.

you can refer this video,
The way you have tied your quad and also this video the setup is + configuration.. if you want to have X configuration the quad should be tied in between the two arms..
