Post by: gunnu on February 19, 2015, 01:47:23 AM
hello.
while rebuilding my quad enquire strange issue with esc.. while assembling i connect Individual ecs to receiver for checking rotation mo motors but when i provide some throttle two motors start rotating. i connect only one esc to receiver ( only signal wire ).. i also double check connections.. re-assemble quad again.. Does the receiver has anything else connected to it?
Are you sure that the receiver is not connected to the flight control board as well? (with male to male servo leads)
Such connection will pass the signal from the receiver to the remaining ESC's via flight control board.

i connect naza BEC to receiver directly ( for powering receiver ) and only signal wire of one ecs... ( i also add ferrite core to prevent from any signal Interference but same prob..)

You say two motors starts rotating while you plugged only one ESC to receiver ???
Can I know whether the other rotating motor's ESC is connected to some where ?

@gunnu,
When i first saw your query, i thought that you disconnected the Rx channel 3 from the FC and connected it to one ESC, while leaving the other rx channels and 3 ESCs connected.
Did not post as my experience with quads was only 2 days, and saw that Sooraj was helping.

Now that the issue is resolved, can you please describe the problem and its solution so that we too can learn from it?

actually.. i was rebuilding my quad after connecting all esc by power distribution board thought. first to check rotation of all the motors( as i directly solder motors to esc removed all bullet connectors ) when i connect esc to receiver (only esc is connected to receiver not fc.. ) only signal wire not red not black. and provide throttle two motors start rotation and other two start beeping..

issue resolved after connecting black wire signal wire. (now tried with signal wire and black and it works fine) also add ferrite core to servo wire of esc..
