Nice video. What camera did you use for recording, and which camera for FPV?
There seems to be a little jello in the video, could post a pic of your setup?

Ashim.

Need to know how to reduce jello please help!

Jello is caused by vibrations. Good propeller balancing is required to reduce the jello effect. Some people use rubber grommets on their camera mounts to absorb the vibrations.
A picture of setup would help to make a better analysis.

Ashim.

You can use ear plugs or vibration cancelling foam as well
Here I used antivibration foam www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGgYpmr_mRs (http://)
and whenever you shoot try and shoot in max fps to reduce the jello

if your using a gopro, record in 60fps... that should reduce the jello a bit.
hope this helps!

You can also use a ND4 filter and/or moongel to drastically reduce jello from any camera footage. This is after you have propelly balanced your props. First try to eliminate vibrations at source as much as you can.

new to the forum... pretty good with multirotos though,am a cinematographer and steadicam guy with bollywood and hollywood.

nice video, i wanted to put my view on jello and vibrations as I have first hand experience with them, sometimes its not the prop balancing with jello, its alos the flex in the prop,, some plastic props bend a lot with air creating more movement and degree of rotation in the prop rather then the frame, I always find it better to use carbon mixed props or hard props performing better then soft plasticky props.

Vibration is mainly frame generated, its wrong to say that motor is reeponsible,, yes, motor rotataes and thats its job but if you use carbon fiber or wood or any other non flexible material... you will avoid vibrations, materials likr nylon and plastic is friendly with flexing which will technically pass the vibration in the form of flex it generates so eventually your controller ends up handling more correctyions per minute.. added up with cheap plastic prop and non tuned main controller it ends in not good flying experience...
solution, always make sure what material you are using, there is not much cost difference in good andd cheap ones....
go for good ones

let me know if you guys have any queries, ill be happy to help out,,, also if you guys wanna try or see some big systems do let me know, am based in delhi and I have the best frames.. motors and anything you can think of...
cheers

Am using 10x50 CARBON fiber props!! The main reason for vibration is the camera mounting!

Well. Camera if mounted properly can not be the reason of vibration.  It's motors and moving parts in your system and the movement is translated to other parts as flex or elasticity. Hope that helps

I think no one is interested to encourage a beginner :-(

The above post determines two things :
1. Attention seeking
2. Childish behaviour

Seriously dude, if you want people to encourage you then just create content and stop whining.

Hi Roshan

Maybe Prateek used words a tad bit harsh , but the message he is conveying is absolutely right. You cannot force people to go to your youtube channel and watch videos. This forum is very good platform for everyone to absorb new content. I am sure if you will create good content your youtube stats will improve.

Nobody is discouraging you but please belive in the old age saying : CONTENT IS KING.

Ankur

Maybe I did.. sorry for that, but dude you need to just make some good videos and if people like it then you won't need to ask for views. None of my posts are discouraging .
Best of luck and take things positively, I am just trying ro help(even I have the same problem at times)
