Hi Guys,

Firstly, a big HI to the community.  I am Deepak from Delhi, a newbie to the RC world.

I am looking for Syma X5C-1 Quadcopter (the new version).  Have more or less filtered the model and to best of my knowledge it is fine. Or you guys are open to suggest some other piece with stable flying, durability and decent flying time.  Yes, within the same range!

My only question is - Where I can get this in India?

I have located one in ebay, but the cost is around 5.4k and that is pretty high.

However, on BangGood or sp4mm3r I can easily get them under 3.5k and too including secure shipping charges.

But the doubt is -

1. From where I can buy this piece in India at good price?
2. If I buy it from BangGood or sp4mm3r, is there any risk of Custom issues?  Like the item may get seized by Customs.  Or will I be paying any Custom Duty, if yes, how much I need to pay and how will I know that the item has reached customs department and I have to get it cleared.

Thanks.  Please do note, you are also open to suggest some other model with stable flying, durability and decent flying time.  But yes, within the same price range!

Ordering a quadcopter from banggood will obviously attract customs. Paying duty is fine they charge 40% on the declared amount but it may not happen if they find a quadcopter is sitting in the package. They undoubtedly seize the package and you will never have a chance to get it released from them irrespective of your need whether you are a student or hobbyist.
If you want to buy it in India post you need in wanted section so that some person or lhs will suggest you to a website.

So you mean to say, it may not get detected by Customs or if detected, they may seize it permanently?

And is Custo Duty 40% of the declared amount?
