Is it possible to use both the stock 9x and frsky modules trough a toggle switch? Did anyone try that? Is it OK if I use a toggle switch (vcc cable) to toggle between both systems? so that we get to use both frsky and 9x Rx?

sam, you will have to use a dpdt toggle to switch both positive and ppm signals to the selected radio. The ground can be left common. Just switching the positive might cause problems. You might also have to cut traces on the 9x PCB, this will be the large board on the backplate for ease of installation. I haven't done it on my radio yet because I'm using the 9x module with the joystick transmitter. Some guys on the western side of the earth have done it and say it works flawlessly. You should also be introduce an LED somewhere in between to indicate which radio is active.

Thanks Girish, really appreciate your quick help. Could you post any links to those who has done it already? I have searched a lot but couldn't find any thing solid.

Just got a reply from RCgroups. As per renatoa, by using a diod on the ppm, a single switch can be used for vcc. Reasonable heh?
