ok guys here a bit of my take on 2.4 and airtronics

first scenario

GWS e-starter as the wing retaining screw came off i had done some heavy cf reinforcement

flying day - flew it when mumbai was nearly flooded it gave me a dry spell but extreme humidity in the air thats just 15 minutes after rain .

temperature was around 25-30 degrees as i can remember

i did not know about line of sight while first testing my rds8000 (i love it ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D)

though i was aware of 2.4 and carbon fiber related problems i taped around one of the antennas of my rds8000 receiver to it to achieve 90 degree set up 

the other antenna was about a cm away from the next cf tube

i went to the field and take off it went quite but ii kept it low(i dont remember why) and returned back the flight was about thirty seconds long and it was just starting to drizzle i landed (you could call that crash landing as i wrecked the from wheel apart) and came back.

and in my opinion i can be 200%sure not even a glitch and the controls were soo smooth.

i dont know why it all did never attack my system my e-starter has more or less become a testing ground where i attack different components on it

next flight i tested metal gear servos . i had changed the battery and heavy cg imbalance took place and i crashed and this would have been enough to tear apart nylon gears but the metal gear worked fine. and in this crash the whole tail assembly came off.

and i am off to more adventures with my lovely rds 8000

as far as features are concerned the small lcd i thought would create havoc but when it arrived it seemed to be to easy to handle d/r on a flick of a switch and only thing the lcd doesnot show is i believe a planes pic.

for any test which you would like me to perform i am ready so please do tell me as i too want to push 2.4 over limits to prove how worthy this airtronics radio has been for me

Pardon my saying  so but 30 secs is tooooooo short  time frame to expect any thing  to go wrong and  would not qualify to be a test in any case  whether it be for servos or for a radio the only test this could qualify for is crash test you need to keep the plane airborne for in excess of 10 mins for it to be a real test of  the components .

I think it is better to fly than  do destructive testing  intentionally if not intentional then you better concentrate on improving your flying , as  for the radio as it is already proven that it is good by the company itself and by other users as well so no need to reinvent the wheel please try to understand you could wreck the receiver ( costing around Rs 5 K ) with repeated crashes  ;D ;D ;D
we are not too keen in the results of destructive testing at your cost especially.
