I have recently purchased  OrangeRx 2.4GHZ Futaba Tx module and a OrangeRx  R615X 2.4 Ghz rx

I have a Futaba 9CHP in which I have installed the Tx module.

The receiver is supposed to be DSM2/DSMX compatible.

I can bind with the receiver properly only in "DSM2, 1024 mode  (Blinking OFF)" and "DSM2, 2048 mode – (single blink)" modes.

I can sometimes bind in "DSMx, 22ms mode – double blinks" or "DSMx, 11ms mode – triple blinks" mode, but the connection keeps dropping and the red led starts blinking. Also when the receiver re-connects it goes to full throttle for few seconds.

I have tried the binding from a distance of around 6 feet (suggested on some other rc forums), however no luck.

My questions :

1. Has anyone tried this combination and got it to work on any DSMX mode ?
2. Has anyone binded a Spectrum Tx with OrangeRx  R615X on DSMX mode ?

3. Has anyone binded a Futabx Tx with the Orange module with the Spectrum AR636 receiver? If yes in which mode ? (Reason I'm asking is, I'm planning to buy a bind n fly which has got an AR636 receiver. I know all this is "supposed" to work in theory, I just want a confirmation that it actually works before I take any next steps)

I found an answer:

3. Has anyone binded a Futabx Tx with the Orange module with the Spectrum AR636 receiver?

Ans: Futabx Tx with the Orange module binds with the AR6335A but only in DSM2 mode, not in DSMX mode, so I'm assuming the same would be true for AR636.
