Hey first bind ur receiver to tx. Install all softwares including expansion packs. Switch on ur radio, put it in plane mode and not heli mode, leaving everything else as default.  Connect usb single to receiver and follow the wire placement correctly,  refer the manual. Now connect usb to pc and run the program go to autodetect, then calibrate and select controller interface. I have done this after initial failed attempts. Have been using it on pc and my MacBook also.

Let us know the progress.

Sometime brute force works. I was getting the same error from my PC. I am on a win 8 machine. All I did was keep removing and pushing the USB adopter back in. After many tries, the adopter was automatically recognized in my PC.

Please load the realflight g4 in the PC first.
Then try the following - the Avionic transmitter should be in "On position"
The small 2 pin should be in the simu holes of the Avionic RZ7 receiver.

Dear Agrawal,
1) see your USB Cable Condition, if bad replace it
2) chk your USB drivers on PC & LAptop,
3) if all is fine, then this  Radio is bad, there is an 8-pin SMD IC definitively bad inside this radio, this happens because many of us don't keep Earthing/Grounding proper on mains supply, which get slight AC on chassis, one must use tester to see that there is proper grounding/earthing, many times we repair Laptops with similar issues, for all delicate gadgets always ensure grounding is perfect
4) due to repeat usb use on radio the soldered usb socket get dislocated or broken, or may be dry solder, pl chk
5)Do not use brute force Technic these are all critical devices, static current also spoils, using brute force may spoil Radio system circuitry

An old defunct thread, but posting here as the problem is the same.

More than a year ago, i was running the RCB 7X wireless simulator on my laptop.
Didn't use for a long time.
Now it says 'No valid interlink found'

Several hours of trying led to the conclusion that usb dongle is not being detected by Windows Home Premium.

Uninstalled G4 and Emulator.
Reinstalled as per Shannon video in RCB.
Found that G4 launcher is not going to the screen for inputting serial numbers.
Maybe in the initial G4 setup, the name and organisation are different from what i had input originally (and no longer recollect)

So two problems:
1. Dongle not detected. No msg saying driver installed successfully.
2. Serial numbers screen not appearing.

Tried on second laptop. That detected a Trojan Horse and quarantined EMU file.

Grateful for help. Thanks.

Edit: same Tx/Rx used for flying every Sunday without any problem. So nothing wrong with Tx/Rx.

Try reinstall using compatibility mode.

Tried compatibility mode.
Tried running as administrator.
No luck.

I think what i need is a driver for the dongle.
Can anyone help, please?

Got this suggestion from praveen jose:

i had the same problem with my fly sky too...later i tries some scratching on the metal part of the simulator usb as it was having some rust and corrosion and it worked after some time again problem and i tried connecting the simulator usb to a usb extension cable and again it started working...try it it may work...

Tried WD40! Tried extension cable.
Sadly, no luck...

@K K Iyer,
please check the pin of the dongle where the receiver cable is connected for wireless simulation. The pin might have become loose.

Have checked the following:
Devices shows PPM controller
Device status shows working ok
Dongle blue flashes
Dongle to Rx cable connectivity verified
Connected correctly to Rx with red on top.
Rx shows green.
Model selected in Tx is SIM.
All connections cleaned with WD40. Fits are tight.

But
Emulator shows no axis detected
Select controller option in simulator shows blank.

Since Tx/Rx work in an actual model,
I can only conclude that the Rx is not outputting signal to sim port!

How to proceed? Grateful for help.

Sir can you spot that device in device manager? Is that showing an exclamation mark?

@akhilzid,
Thanks for response. Didn't see it earlier as busy repairing 60% Curare Foamy for tomorrow.

Answers to your queries:

Can you spot that device in device manager?
YES. As PPM HID Controller.

Is that showing an exclamation mark?
NO. Says device working ok.

I've listed the whole logical sequence and checked each step.
Unable to check if Rx outputting to SIM port or not.

Emulator cant find sticks!

The last posts in this thread were in Dec 2013.
I guess all such problems were solved by then.

Perhaps one of those solutions could help me now.
Advance thanks for any help.

What to do now? Call RCB?

I checked mine today and it says 'No interlink found'.I plugged in after a long time. :( I tried with both my receivers but same problem. So its not the problem of ppm output of receiver. Running on windows 8.

Solved. ;D Disable the antivirus software, restart the computer. Then plug in the dongle and 'launch the game' in emulator. :)
