hey guys!
so i am (still) trying to buy a radio, but am confused again... this time between the Avionic RCB7x, the FS-TH9x (both from rcbazaar), and the turnigy 9x(hobbyking)

all have their own pro's and cons...

Avionic:- wireless sim, 7ch, easy to aquire(through LHS)

FS-TH9x:- 9ch, but confused about the firmware, because some people have gripes about it, easy to aquire (through LHS), costs  Indian Rupees 5000 in india

Turnigy 9x:- Dirt cheap...  Indian Rupees 3000, comes with a custom firmware, difficult to aquire(hobbyking), shipping will increase it to around Indian Rupees 5000 only

these are the radio's... i am buying with long term benefits in mind.... any help, suggestions will be helpful!!!

thanks,
Aniket Chatterjee

shipping a radio from outside India can be a pain in the ass. buying the same turnigy from rc bazaar and flashing it with the latest software is a good idea. but i do not trust the turnigy's signal: it loses signal in between and anytime.
avionic could be a better option, though i never used it

@prateek, the RC bazaar guys said that they have stopped flashing the custom firmware, because apparently customers were complaining about it's non user friendly interface.... :/

What is your Budget ??

See Hitec Optic 6 at Rotor.co.in and sanwa sd-6 at rcdhamaka

these are branded radios with a solid reputation

RcB - Fs-TH9x and HK Turnigy 9X is the same radio - both mfg by flysky.

If you want to choose between the 9x (either HK or RCB) and the Avionic
go for the 9X as there is a large support base in terms of users and the radio
has got a good value for money factor.

Going by the specifications - the only thing I can see which is better
in the Avionic is the wireless sim capability - and this is more of a novelty.

I have not held an Avionic Tx so I will not be able to comment on the
actual physical aspects i.e the quality of the gimbals and the switches etc..
The sticks etc.. of the 9x are acceptable and are on par with a Futaba 6Ex

This is an equally important aspect.

@saikat, thanks a lot!... my budget is Indian Rupees 5000.... can push it to 6... i know that the turnigy and fs 9x are the same, but the stores offer different mods...
the HK turnigy 9x get's the v2 firmware, but is a pain in the @$$ to import...
the RcBazaar Fs 9x has the older firmware, but it is waaaay easier to aquire....
