hey guyz, being a beginner iI am confused which radio should iI buy..!recently iI visited rcbazar.com for it and found 2 models
1.avionic RCB7X costing 4490/-
2.FS-TH9X costing 4950/-
which will be a good one to buy and also what things should iI look while buying a radio.plz help!!

and also is having a simulator and practicing on it necessary for a beginner as iI hav already flown a 3.5ch heli(it was probably a china)

Range is heavily dependent on your surroundings. You can expect only 200-300m in urban areas and upwards of 1km if you have line of sight and little radio interference.
