Keep calm and fly safe.

I read multiple forums..
Some people say theyve used 2s without probs ...others say that max voltage for it is 6V...others are using lion battery...
Has anyone tried using a 2s ...
Need opinion before i go ahead and potentially fry my tx.

Dont connect the LIPO to tx .
Lipo when charged is 8.4 volts, although there are regulators inside to control voltage.

ideal suggestion would be to go for a 6 volt regulator before connecting to tx.

7806 is ideal regulator for application.

I am using a 2500mah powerbank (which was lying around) for my FSi6,  the only issue is that it always shows voltage as 5v (since the output of powerbank is 5v) and your tx wont sound alarm before the battery cuts off.  It stay at 5v from start to end and suddenly cuts off, just remember to charge before every flight, I have not had any issues until now.

One step at a time :)

Why not use NI-MH ?
I use 2500 mAh Ni-MH batteries. They go good for 1 months atleast. (5 minutes flying everyday)

Get 4 rechargeable NiMH or NiCad 2000 MaH batterys and us it, works for me fine I can get a good 3 to 4 flight in one charge still u will find a good amount of charge in it don't do any kind of modification takes lots of time. and when u r using this battery u will fine the battery bar 1 point less which is normal still it can do a good number of flights.Happy flying
