Title: Decent Simulator Combo to start with?
Post by: Nanu on January 30, 2015, 09:56:55 AM
Hi,

I am looking for a decent RC simulator to start with. I have some experience with flying RC planes but that was over 10 years ago.
A simulator to start with again before I start flying again. Really don't wanna crash all my money.

I am looking for a combo with a Transmitter and software. Anything off the shelf.
I was keen on the RCB 6x which comes with a simulator etc, but it seems to be out of stock at RCb.

Also was looking into the Real Flight G6 but thats only on Amazon.com, and people here have had issues in getting Tx thru from Customs.
So I am really confused.

Can anyone recommend me any cheap Tx maybe which I can connect to my PC for this purpose,
maybe even that would do for now.
Or any other options to get this done?

Thanks a lot for all the help.
Have a nice weekend.

You can use any transmitter that has a trainer port for simulator use.
Also you can get a wireless simulator (that connect to your receiver) - this will work with any radio !!

Please suggest any that you know of which are locally available.

Again, are any of these locally available...?

Do you currently have a Transmitter ? Which is it ?

If you don't have one, you have to buy a Transmitter, first . What is your budget ?

If you already have a Transmitter, you can consider these simulators :

Would like to get a new transmitter...for use with the simulator and for my first few planes.
My budget including the simulator is about 8K

So your looking to get a transmitter just for simulator purpose ? Then you just need a Flysky 4Ch (which is the cheapest available in India as of now .) or 6Ch (CT6B) - it is available in rcmumbai.com

If you want a transmitter only for the sim, I think the best option would be to get a USB transmitter. I haven't seen these on sale but they are available on EBay.com.

Hi Nanu,

I have a simulator which will suffice your needs. Its a 22 in 1 simulator software including the latest realflight 7 and phoenix rc5 along with all the previous versions with 7 expansion packs for planes, helicopters and multirotors(That covers many/lots of models). The simulator pack comes with cables and dongle to connect most controllers TX,Futaba, esky, interlink, etc.
This is an original version with a serial key and is supported for online updation and I have attached a picture below.

I also have a usb simulator controller (Dedicated only for simulator) like you wanted and this is an unopened pack and I had got it from one of my contacts for personal use.I had received it yesterday and am willing to part with it as I would be able to get my hands on another one.The picture for this is also attached at the bottom.

If you are interested then you can contact me at this number - +918861185184 , whatsapp or call.
