Guys, I'm slightly confused as to which Rx will work with my Futaba 6EXAP. I'm in the process of getting a Corona Rx for my Tx but am not sure if the dual conversion 8 Ch will work fine or should I go in for the single conversion one.
Please guide.

I have a 8ch corona dual conversion receiver (synthesized)  and it works . I used a single conversion crystal on my Tx (6EXHP) and it linked up quite well .

Single or Dual conversion is only relevant to the Rx, and also therefore with Rx Xtals.

No such thing for Tx Xtals.

In summary... both single conversion and dual conversion corona receivers will work, as long as you are in the same band (72Mhz, 35Mhz, 40Mhz etc) as the TX.

Just checked with my  Futaba 6 Ex , both the single and dual conversion work with the 6 Ex .
Same with the Hitec Optic 6 as well.

Thanks guys,
But am now wondering, why is there a thing as single conversion and dual conversion, if both bind and work well with Tx's?
What is the advantage of one over the other?
