Title: ETA For Tello Drone Post by: SHOJIL on May 19, 2020, 09:50:18 PM Recently I purchased a Tello drone from outside India, then I send it to India via Post parcel. But customs held it in office asking for documents. Since the drone is only 80g no importing license or registration is required but they are asking for ETA(Equipment type approval).
I contact with manufacture and they send me ETA as a number similar to the following. File No: L-22xxx/1/2018-RLO(WR) ETA No: WR-ETA/201xxxxxx. I was expecting some document. Now I don't know what is next procedure. Can I collect drone by giving this number to Customs office ? If someone have any information about this please help.
