Title: Flysky 9X transmitter from RCBAZAAR.
Post by: jits on June 17, 2011, 09:17:31 PM
Just received my first transmitter from RCBAZAAR.

Thanks to Sujju and his team at RCBAZAAR. I made a last minute change in my order from the FlySky 6ch to 9 ch TX and there was no problem at all.

And to my surprise this Tx is the same as the Turnigy 9X sold by HK.

Thanks Sujju for bringing this transmitter available in India at such an amazing price.

thanks a lot for the comments.. and yes I would like to reiterate here that flysky Th9x and rx which is being sold here at Rs 4690 is the same as the Turnigy 9x and rx (also the rx's of turnigy will work with the flysky and viceversa.... but pls note that the 6ch tx might not work with the 9ch rx) which is an OEM of Flysky tx’s...
HobbyKing I believe does flashing of the tx and we at rcbazaar will be doing our own flashing soon and softwares will be upgraded, its only that we are still yet to pinpoint which is the best software of this and once this is done you will see the Tx’s from RcBazaar being flashed in-house.

this surely can be done... but you will have to ship the tx back to us again.. why don't you hold for a couple of weeks more untill we do this?

How can I reserve a set

Avijit.. unfortuntely i cannot book/ block these as our system is based on realtime inventory management system. I cannot hold to an items unless it states as paid / sold at the point of sale machine...but do not worry we have ample number of these tx's in stock which will last for quite sometime atleast for 3-4 weeks min...
if not pls make an order online and send the payment for this and i will not ship it untill we get the flashing done here... your call.

with all the respect sujju bhai can i sugest one thing, pricing down the rate of 9X  would be realy a good thing since indianhobby.in is selling turnigy 9X at 4600

thanks for this but will rs 90 make such a large difference?... and frankly warraiornair i dont want nor does any LHS wants to initiate a price war and frankly this is not healthy to any LHS's business or even to you as a hobbiest as on a long term a price war will lead to low if not no margins to us and one will have to close down business.. its not a large thing to reduce the price by rs 90 or even by rs 200 but again as a LHS I personally have spent a lot on getting the WPC approvals (which am sure as a consumer you will not bother) however we will be having our periodic sales at some excellent prices which i personally will ask you to look out for any impulse purchases... :-)

and Jits, the hardware of this radio is great but we feel the software still needs to be improvised and as this oiperates on a opensource software the opportunities are endless... as i have stated earlier people are using this tx for telemetry and also have converted from 9Ch to 12Ch... we at rcbazaar feel that we should relook at upgrading the software of this radio and have already initiated it and hopefully will be done soon...

can u try this

http://code.google.com/p/th9x/wiki/installation_de

http://code.google.com/p/er9x/

they say its bug free and can support 16 model memory and upto 16 channels on turnigy/imax/flysky 9 ch radios.

I dnt think you can directly burn the erx firmware. There are some soldering needed.

I Did upgrade a radio with the firmware from ER9X and is damn damn good! it is based on ATMEL chip and geeks out there have transformed this radio in to telemetry units! to do this one need a SMD Soldering Tip ( pointed soldering tip) and a programmer... usually found in hobby electronic shops. one needs a basic idea in electronics to do this.

Right there is a business opportunity for Jatayu (or even RCBazaar).... flashing existing radios for a fee !

i flashed the radio for RCBazaar acutally! it was for a trail and to check out if there are any bugs! working out for a solderless solution to avoid unnecessary shorts.

and i haven't been business minded when it comes to this hobby! existing radio's will be flashed free if they take care of shipping! :)

Yes the solderless option will also be executed soon.... and yes the radios will be flashed at no cost... but shipping to and for will be your cost

@ rcbazaar

pls forgive me if i personaly irritated u, i didnt want to question ur credibility or something since i was reading all ur posts from the time i was registered . Ur flysky6ch radio price is verymuch  low considering the same radio fromHK, thats why i compared it with another seller.. Again a thousand appologies

@ hobbyshop
since my BBmodem is out, iam logging in through my cellphone, so i was unable to correctly remember the site name ....

Thank you anwar sir and jits.

@sujju sir - please dont mention it, u have no idea to wat extent we are enjoying visiting the store everyday since it opened :)
Even though i'm a beginner and not very proficient with flying right now, meeting and interacting with all kinds of different people from an 8 year old kid who wanted an A380 to a 60year old who got fascinated with the coaxial helis is so much fun and building my passion more and more into this hobby...its like saying first i'm an aeromodeller then a man...
SO Thanx a lot to u for opening this store and giving me this oppurtunity...
