I got my FlySky CT6B few days back and when I tried connecting the programming cable, the transmitter sends singals randomly. Also some times it wont communicate with my PC if I hold it horizontally. I assume its a problem with the trainer port ? something like a loose contact ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlP3OY3Fe1k&feature=youtu.be

Have anyone else experienced the same ? I am not able to configure the radio because it looses communication with the PC randomly !!!!

Are these kind of "glitches" expected from these cheaper and beginner radios ?

just bought the same radio,
used it with a sim for a while and the power led was alternating yellow and green.
Is it normal and its just the dying battery or is it something else?
Manual mentions the led should be stable yellow if its low.

Alternating yellow and green = battery getting over.
Alternating green and red =  calibration mode.

This eats up the battery very fast. Good idea to use a power adapter while using the sim.

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

Check software compatibility.
Just check with an old XP machine(NOT WIN7 OR VISTA) to confirm hardware/software problem.

I am using the registered version of "Digital Radio". It is compatible with windows 7. I do not think it is a problem with the software or the compatibility of the software.

You mean, for this model the polarity will be reversed ? That brings another question, is there any "standard" or "universal" polarity convention when it comes to DC outputs ?

I just tried with battery again..the same issue is there. So I am not sure if its the problem when connecting the power adapter. Are you sure you power adapter ratings are correct ?

Don't connect with power adapter as it might get burned . I had read somewhere that connecting it with adapter can damage your transmiter

There was a problem in using the USB cable with Tx. But some how I tried to solve it after a lot seeing a lot of stuff over internet. I've used this with a 64bit Win7 PC and it worked fine after installing the required drivers, PPJoy and T6Sim.
It works great for me.  Smiley

No. Although the majority use "centre positive".
