Think no further better buy a FS-i6. It is always preferable to buy any electronic product which has wider customer base because the problems are solved very fast.

Do you have any longterm review or something. Many in forumforums said itits not of good quality so iam asking.  Do you by any way know the after sale support? Observed range?  Any unusual problem?

The flysky t6 is very good if you are looking for range

It has longer range than other brands?  ???
Kindly provide comparative data...

I thought that having range farther than you can see the model is not of much use to non FPV guys...

Check how far you can see the model well enough to control it.
Can't think of any brand TxRx that has less range than that.

@shlokj,
Sir, you must indicate whether your statement is based on facts, or just your opinion.
Otherwise it may mislead newcomers...
Regards.

Hi Rusty,

I've been using Fs-i6 for over 6 months now (bought it in November last year), and I think I can list the pros and cons of this TX for ya. Helpful or not, I'll leave for you to decide.

Pro:-
* Very lightweight, hardly weights 600 gms with battery.
* Small and compact in size, good grip even if you have small hands
* 1 set of 4 AA NiCad 2200 mah last more than a night (I left mine on before hitting the bed, it was still on in the morning)
* Telemetry radio with voltage sensor built into the reciever.
* Wide arrey of recievers available from fsA8S micro reciever all the way up to X6B and fsiA10 reciever.
* Option to update the firmware at will
* Support from the diy community, custom firmware has already been released, new features added as we speak, few mods available too.
* Good range, I've flown my plane to 1.3kms before I lost visual ( I had Naze32 with GPS on, do distance measurement should be correct )
* Failsafe option also available
* Value for money if you conceder the features offered

Cons
* Has a very annoying buzzer, that beeps every few seconds if the TX is left unattended for about a minute
* Backlight turns off in just a few seconds, and you have to click some button to wake it up
* Backlight not too bright
* Only one 3 position switch
* No momentary contact trainer switch, not sure even if it has a trainer option
* No tactile feedback on the variable potentiometers (VRA and VRB ) you'll have to look down to see if they are properly centred .
* Works on AA batteries, no lipo/life connector available, can be used only after modding the TX
* Build quality not top of the line, doesn't feels cheap in hand, but doesn't feels premium either.

My suggestion is you go for it, really a value for money radio. But please don't buy from ShopClues or any other e-store, buy it from a hobby store, quadckpters is the best option.

Hi sir,
I believe you misunderstood me, I was not comparing to other Txs like Taranis.
I meant compared to the i6, as they have similar price and specs.

You cannot determine the radio with its range capacity most of the popular brands like JR, Spektrum, Futaba & Hitec all have at least 1km of range capacity but no one can see up to 1 km with bar eyes which we call line of site (LOS) it’s about durability and functionality so if you want to be in this hobby for a long time invest  on a  batter quality.

Guys is it possible to import transmitter and receiver from bangood. I contacted them and they said they can mention lesser price and not mention product as wireless or radio equipment on the package.  They also said they have deliver a txrx(flysky fsi6) to india recently. What dou you think? Can i import?

Our strict advice is not to import any radio controlled equipment as it is restricted. If you can risk the money then you can go ahead. But if found as transmitter equipment then it would be confiscated. It won't even be sent back to seller.
How could you trust a seller words that they have delivered to India. Even if that is the case buyer might have had import licence.

Well, some of my stuff from BG was sent back to the seller after getting caught in random checks (even though they printed a vague category and item name). However, they were reshipped by BG and reached me safely the second time.

Remember that large packages are highly likely to get checked. Your money is always at risk in such cases.

Don't import rx or tx. As they are visible in the scan. And there is no way they are going to leave without asking the licenses. So if its stuck go to the office talk to the officer and ask him to return it to the seller. He will ask you to write a statement for that. My 2 attempts from aliexpress and banggood failed and both time it got stuck. And I saw another incident where another officer walked into the office and was talking regarding the cheerson quadcopter which they caught that day. Get the rx-tx from here and get the rest of them from outside you wont face any problem. My fpv goggles where charged 235 rs coz it was big. Yi action camera was also charged because it might be shown in the scan thou the package was nice small.

What is the different between these two flysky radio,
FlySky FS-i6 & FlySky FS-i6x.

After upgrading firmware channels could be extended up to 10ch by binding Fs-ia10b receiver.
I am little bit confused about i6 or i6x. Which is better?
Which one should i buy?

Fsi6X has I think i bus support also...i Have fsi6 and it supports pwm and ppm protocols. But fsi6X allows ibus for cheap for quad and other flying. Its the cheapest and reliable radio with ibus i think. One model higher is fsi6S which has touch screen display and also supports ibus. The form factor of FSi6S is also better than FSi6 but its also more costlier than FSi6
