Hi everyone
After a lot of Google...  And YouTube... I am more confused then ever..
Any one has modified a Frsky TX with Frsky module to support Telemetry with Er9x firmware.
Please advise on the easiest way out
Regards

Docnayeem i did some research and found you can do with less soldering as the 2 pins 41,42 are available on the chip pad of ic at extreme right so easy to solder. And can build a converter ( because of signalling presented by frsky) by plugging directly to frsky module at the back and can connect to the other end of converter to programming plug from where u upgrade the OS. what basically it does it port
This way you least damage the original circuits and can re sell or reuse the module later.
If you want to try the approach then i will be able to send more details later.

Parichay do not kill me for not doing it for u as my schedule is really haywire

Please see the attached photo where you can pickup the signal for pin 41 and 42. I will post the convertor setup details to pick signal from frsky connector at back to the programming port. What needs to be mapped is MISO and MOSI pins 2,3 with Frsky connector but the voltage and level will blow the motherboard so a convertor is needed.
Feel free to comment or ask if in doubt.

This is where you will need to pass the cables and solder on both side from with careful sanding with any cheap paper based nail filer and use a needle or allpin to widen the gap. this particular ic has no role as per my research maybe turnigy planned to use it later.

The tricky part where you need to put in a circuit for converting telemetry data from frsky to 9x or 9xr. I would recommend you create a four wire socket to frsky to power the converter module  and make a 10 pin socket for connecting the output to MISO and MOSI pin to the programming socket at bottom. This way you will create least change to the tx or frsky module. In case if you want to sell yor tx or have other plan then it is simple 2 wire clipping and removing the converter module without any physical damage or change to tx

In case if you want to build it on PCB then please make a small board with the following layout

set acc_hardware = 1

Why would it need to be done when telemetry is a stock feature with the Taranis?
