Title: Flysky TH9X Stock RF module range Post by: phanivyas on July 16, 2015, 09:43:03 PM I'm using FS-TH9X with stock module on my quadcopter. The max range of the Tx seems to be approx 300m. My quad uses APM and radio fail safe is configured so no flyaway or crash till now. Does the stock module has less range or by any chance do I have a faulty one? Also if I want to get 1.5-2 Kms range, should I replace the stock module with FrSky?

Title: Re: Flysky TH9X Stock RF module range Post by: phanivyas on July 16, 2015, 10:07:16 PM I have purchased mine last year. I have opened the Tx RF module & Receiver to check for any damage in the antenna coax cable but it was fine. So don't know why I get less range.

Upon searching online I came to know there are 2 versions of these radios (TH9x & TH9xB). Mine is equipped with RM-002 module.
