A video won't reveal much. Someone needs to be there personally and examine the setup. Do try it on another PC with Windows 7 or XP. There is another route called "Fly it in the Ground" which is much better than this. all that you need to do is to design a pusher model that can bear the crash to an extent. try this, its much better. The Sanwa connector has o/p as shown in the pic below while the sim cable has gnd on outer ring and signal on the gnd pin. I faced the same problem this morning. The controller was being detected but there were no stick movements. The problem was solved after rewiring the PPM to USB dongle.
