Small Rx for indoor planes:

Also I'm looking for a small RX 3ch or 4ch for lightweight indoor application (that'll bind with Turnigy-9X-V2)
I searched through HK and this is the only one,

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10625

But in the specs it says this is for CAR/BOAT application.
Is it worth trying on airplane?
OR
will the motor start running reverse when the throttle is pulled way back?
afterall the Rx dosen't know that he's been fitted on a plane Smiley

According to the comments, it is being used in planes with 9X.  Be aware that range would be limited.

Will work for outdoor also, just don't take the plane too far away.  Park flyer range is typically understood as around 300meters.

Are you sure ?  In the comments for this item, there is even a video posted which shows that this RX works with the Turnigy 9X ! Head Scratching

Should work as long as the radio is V2 (HK  or Turnigy).

The big question is, what prompted you to make that initial statement (that these receivers do NOT work with Turnigy) ?  Can you post some references to where this was mentioned ?

The video shows that they bind!!

Question:
Would the channels be the same as:
CH1=AILERON
CH2=ELEVATOR
CH3=Throtte (ESC)

Is this a standard convention in all Rx that:
1=always aileron, 2=always ELE, and 3=always Throttle(ESC)

My only concern was if it'll work on a plane - because specs say it is for CAR/BOAT,
Thanks Anwar! for pointing out the comments section, where some one has used it on a plane.
