Hello, i am using a turnigy 9xr for my tricopter. The receiver i was using - d8r - II. The receiver was woring well but after 2 hours it didn't! I don't know how but the led on it stopped blinking and it stopped working. How could it be possible? Please reply. Title: Re: Frsky receiver not working! Before trashing the rx, try binding the tx and rx again. My two D8RIIs have been working for over 5 years now... If you decide to get rid of it, send it to me by Speedpost, costs only Rs40. If it works with my tx, I'll buy it or return it if desired. If it doesn't work, I'll return it! Regards Just a friendly offer. I don't need another rx. Have more models than my place can accomodate! So i think its fried but guys when so i was trying to figure out the burned component. I didn't found any part on that rx which was burned and not even the voltage regulator so i started checking it by a Digital multimetre. I was tracking the parts that were not working but i failed :( . So i decided to throw it.. i thought i should give a final try by using the 11.1v lipo battery, i failed again... but while checking it by a multimetre i accidently connected one point of SMD capacitor to the PIN ofthe telmetry by the needle oftge multimetre.. and there was a red flash! I was shocked so i did it again and it worked as usual i bind it to my tx and it binded with it. But the problem is.
1. I NEED TO CONNECT A WIRE TO ONE POINT OF SMD RECEIVER AND PIN OF THE TELEMETRY. 2. I TRIED TO DO THE SAME BY POWERING THE RECIVER WITH A ESC AND CONNECTING THE WIRES AS I DID BEFORE BUT I FAILED AGAIN. THERE WERE NO LEDs FLASHING.
