Do these support both FM modes (PCM in addition to PPM) ?

To the best of my knowledge, the Tx is switchable.

The reason I asked is that the complete model number should be 6EXAP, and you were missing the "P".

I also started with one of these ;)

6EXAP ...surely then its on illegal frequncy of 72 or 35mhz. Its high time dealers stopped selling stuff that could get the flyers in trouble to make a quick buck.

Its also not good for the aeromodeling community to also support such underhand dealings either. Stick to 2.4GHz and you are futureproof and trouble free !

I would hope the moderators of such sites do not allow such posts and discourage such dealers.

Roflyr - It would be most helpful if you can point us towards full approval notices (including WPC approval, which is a must) for any model/brand of 2.4Ghz radio.  I have been looking for that forever !

Until then, they are all borderline at best.  2.4Ghz has the advantage of being de-licensed, but that is not the final word on this matter, which I hope you are already aware of.

@ roflyr

Can you prove 2.4GHz is Legal for R/c Radio's in India ??

Its high time dealers stopped selling stuff that could get the flyers in trouble to make a quick buck.

Dealers pay well in advance :banghead:, follow up with the supplier till the shipment is done :banghead:, clear the consignment by PAYING THE DUTIES & TAXES :banghead:, bear the damages in transit (if any) :banghead:, advertise the goods :banghead:, book the order, follow it up till it reaches SAFELY to our doorsteps :sleepy: & finally take the responsibility / loss of any unsold goods lying with them :banghead:.

In India selling R/C gadgets is more of a Social Service rather than business in terms of monetory part & no fast bucks are involved  :giggle:.

Almost all the IHS are owned by experienced Flyers who are well aware of what to sell & not to our areomodelling community. It's we (aeromodeling community) who are being benefited by IHS with their LEGALLY IMPORTED goods made available at our doorsetps & we hope IHS will continue their support & strengthen our community.

Its also not good for the aeromodeling community to also support such underhand dealings either.

I would hope the moderators of such sites do not allow such posts and discourage such dealers.

BTW what made you to get register in the fourm @ 07:53:09 PM & to post your GYAN @ 08:10:05 PM (in such hurry) ?? :headscratch:

Expecting your feedback / proof on 2.4GHz frequency, till then bye to you (& your gyan) :salute:

72 mhz and 35mhz is illegal.? :o

72 mhz is legal in us and  35 mhz is legal in uk and australia. surely there must be atleast one of these that must be legal here ?
i wonder what frequency people used 10 years ago when there was no 2.4 G!  8-)

BTW, for informatin of all, there were only 2 frequencies cleard in 27 Mhz for RC 35 years back, and the frequencies cleard did not exist in the world for RC,  then 20 years later, 4 frequencies in 27 Mhz were cleared by Min of Communications. 2.4 is unregulated in India only for purpose of initially indoor chordless phones, and later, after a few years. for outdoor chordless phones. 2.4 in not permitted in India for RC. Only now, specific sets in 2.4 have been cleared. which is crazy, cause if Futaba 6ch 2.4 is cleared, makes no sense why 7 or 9 or 12 should not be cleared, and of Futaba is cleard, then why other brands r not cleard, but this is india, and we thrive on creating confusion, which is the master stroke of the Govt. So we will just have to have patience till slowly some learned man comes and occupies the right chair in Min of Comm and puts it all on the right track. So despite all this, RC has thrived in India. God bless
