hey guys,

today i got very strenge problem.
i went to fly today...did abt 5-6 shorties...everything normal...
thn i tried to setup fail safe...
what i did:-

turned on my 9cap...thn turned on my rx 148dp...chked all controls...everything worked..went to failsafe...set it up..
thn turned off my tx to chk fail safe...model went in failsafe mode...everything was good....thn again turned on my tx...
chekd all controls...working fine....

after that i reset my rx (turned off and thn on it while tx is on) and thn i turn off my tx it didnt go in to fail safe mode...i tried this 3-4 times

so every first time it goes in fail safe mode but when reset the rx it doesnt go in failsafe mode....

(everything was working very very fine last week..with the same tx and rx..same model same servos...)

That is strange.  PCM failsafe is sent on every packet, so it should pick up the failsafe settings when the RX power comes back and it receives some control information from the TX.

This might be the answer/reason.

Can you try waiting for up to 2 minutes before you test failsafe, AFTER cycling RX power ?  Alternatively, you can wait for the PCM blink, then try.

Please do not post in SMS language.

The explanation seems to be in the above post itself. I thought failsafe is transmitted in every packet, but it seems like it is only transmitted once in couple of minutes. Now this interval may have been reduced in the Super version.

Two minutes on a 7C also.
