Title: Questions about HK 2.4GHz 6 ch(Mode 2)
Post by: mrhot111 on March 02, 2011, 08:48:20 PM
Not my own but we 5 friends have bought it.
Which battery should we use with it, tx lipo or duracell is nice for long run?
There is nothing in transmitter to connect li-po. How can it be connected?
And there is a charging port on side of Tx, for which type of battery that is used?

lipo recommended

you need to open the tx and solder a connector
and the charging point is for rechargeable nimh/nicad battery packs

don't charge your lipo using that!!!

I have bought 6 of these Tx/Rx combos and in my opinion, they are a GREAT bargain. Instead of immediately tinkering with it and opening it up to solder connectors /adaptors for LiPo, I suggest you use rechargeable NiMh/NiCd batteries of the Uniross variety. They are good enough. Chargers are also readily available on ebay.

thanks prateek, I have 8Ni-cd batteries with charger that can be plugged in Tx, but it is 1.2 v each(1.2*8=9.6v), is it sufficient to run Tx, as normal baateries provide 8*1.5v =12v.
I have never soldered anything, so will not try it first on Tx, so think about lipo after some time.

it will be sufficient as a normal tx need about 9v of power
but see to it that the capacity is good enough
