Which tx?
open it search what is the burnt component... and put a pic of that...
If its just the fuse wires then no need to worry...

1. Change the yellow capacitor on the board. Replace with a non -electrolytic type. It's pukka poofed
2. Check the VRs, most probably fried but may work. Replace them
3. Check for a burnt track on the opposite side. rebuild with simple wire, dont leave uninsulated.

So why not buy  frsky instead of fly sky???

Do we have Frsky tax available in India?

Look, there are several circuit blocks inside the Tx.
Generally the power supply block burns out and it can be easily checked and replaced.
Similar thing happened earlier and all discussion with picture is here, just search.

frsky is module, your 9X has module (FS) just replace that module with frsky and you will be happy like anything. And yes if you can mod with er9x thats also awesome.

I have frsky module but not yet upgraded my firmware to er9x

Frsky modules Features:
Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology (ACCST is our advanced technology it shifts channel hundred times per second and there is no signal conflicts and interruptions) robust frequency agility.
Easy to bind and very fast link-up.
Excellent reboot time.
True Diversity with two antennas.
All channels can be programmed with Failsafe, quickly and easily.
Quick and extremely stable in performance.
Precise and smooth servo response.
Extended range (1.5km-2.5km).
It has telemetry capabilities

But you can do that upgrade later, because the default module is good enough for a beginner.
And modules are not available in India, you will have to import them probably.

Girish,
As you have suggested for Fr Sky Module , pl post the link of suitable Module available at Hobby King for Fly Sky Tx 9x , because  3 modules are there.
Pl explain the Er9x Firmware up gradation on Fly sky Tx 9x, why and how we can do that.

One more thing, if we  import this module from HK , customs will ask to approve this from WPC or clear ( Refernce of Recent Notice from Customs, the custom is asking approval from WPC for all 2.4 GZ Radio).

( its OK ?)

Thanks

Hey Mohan
I dont use the module for frsky..I used the diy kit  to change forever coz i was so sure not to return to the stock module

For er9x there are 6 solder pads on the main board that need to be brought out amd connected to a usbasp (available with kk boards) and programmed usig a computer.  The website for er9x has complete guides how to do that...successfully programmed 6 radios now ;)...and they work great
