You should go for the avionic RCB os 10

its worth the money and great features to progress from Beginner to Intermediate.

from my experience of using the RCB-6i
It has had no range issues.
OS 10 must also not have any range issues

my frined picked up the RCB-6i and loves and also picked up a few extra receivers coz he Read somewhere that the receivers are difficult to get (currently in stock I dont know about the availability issue. ).
I use a modded flysky th9x with the frsky module.
Personally, I prefer the th9x over the rcb 6ibecause of the smooth throttle play. have not tried the os10. you can get smooth throttle in the rcb6i too but if im not mistaken it would void the warranty (opening the piece and removing a screw from the gimbal) or it wares of over time and is great for beginners.
