Hi Team,

I got this new HK 6 channal 2.4ghz PC Programmable Transmitter from Hobbyking. I need your help in Programming this Transmitter for a 4 channal Glider.

1) I am on Vista OS and have installed the Vista Prolific Driver and T6 config program. Now the computer recognizes the Device and i can see it in the windows device driver page, but when i select the particular com port in the program, The T6 program hangs or crashes.  Bang Head

2) Then i installed this new program written in ATeasy (as suggested in Rcgroups forum) But i dont have any help files, to show me how to configure the transmitter. This software is working but i dont know , how to get it going.. Bang Head

Please share your experiances and thoughts on how to programm this transmitter.

Regards,
Ramkumar G

I use this same radio  but not hobby king we import it directly from the manufacturer.
The Hobby King/Turborix  Software  does not work properly .

Down load and use this from link below ( has  worked for me ):
http://www.flysky-cn.com/pic/down/FS-CT6ADriver.rar

Programming can be a bit tricky watch  this Video:

AS FAR AS I KNOW THESE PROGRAMS MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM WORKING WITH VISTA .

We normally  caution  buyers of this fact  prior to selling  .

If you do have problems please feel free to call me on 9380577074  or drop in to our office at Adyar .

It should be easier to do it on a non-Vista machine as a temporary solution (since the changes you make should not need frequent changes).  Just borrow a non-Vista PC/laptop from a friend / neighbor.

I think instead of ur borrowing laptop u should make ur laptop to "dual boot" i.e. install xp and vista both on the same computer
If u are low on disk space then try the unofficial "assassin edition or gamers edition or micro edition" whose installing disc is just 80-150 mb and installs with all drivers under 1.5gbs,so u can install in a 2gb pen drive
Btw have u tried in vista using compatibility mode with win xp sp2 or older as the os and with FULL admin rights
this may help as this seems to be the cure for most programs that don't run in win vista

PS:i am not promoting piracy just helping this man to make his software run properly. If u are caught for piracy don't blame me >Cheesy >Cheesy Grin Giggle Wink.

i don't know about the driver but if it has linux drivers then install linux u'll be saved from getting into piracy[as nearly all linux are open source and even some offer their orignal cds for free eg-opensolaris,ubuntu,kubuntu]

Thank you Team, for your suggestion.  The software works perfect in an XP machine. Well now learning the intricacies of the Mixers,Dual Rate, Sub Trims. But all i need for now is only 4 channels to control the plane.   Wink

Now i could not connect my Battery 1800 mah 3s lipo to the ESC as shown in the above video. The Connector would not fit each other. The Esc end point to the battery has the "Deans Connector" where as the battery has a large round connector on its side, and both wont fit with each other.I am trying to bind my receiver to the transmitter as in the video shown above by Sai.
Please let me know , what should i be doing to get the battery connected to my ESC.

Ram G

Dude..

You need to buy a dean's connector and then cut the wire of the battery and solder the dean's connector to the battery wire. Its pretty easy, buy the dean's connectors from Mr.Sai.

for more details go through this thread and watch the video..

http://www.rcindia.org/beginners-zone/connections-and-connectors-on-electrics/

take it easy and all the best with the flight..

Remember that it always help avoid shorts by cutting one lead on the lipo first, solder it to the deans and only then do the second one.  Do NOT cut and expose the strands on both leads together.

And thanks Atul for posting the previous thread information.  It is good to see existing useful information being put to good use !

Hi Team,

Thank you, I got the receiver to bind with the Transmitter. Thanks to Sai, as the link shared by him , is the only one, which actually works. Apart from that link we can also use this link. This one works irrespective of the OS Version.

Hi all,

I am not sure ,if everybody has the same experience, this transmitter has slow action time on the plane. i.e it takes time for the action to be completed on the plane, I never had the same experience on a simulator. The change to the controls was quick and the model responded very fast. But in reality, there is definitely a laag between the action and the reaction.
