Title: How to use transmitter as simulator?
Post by: aditya on August 14, 2011, 02:26:57 PM
Hi all
i want to use my skytech T6i transmitter as simulator.
it has a audio cable socket for trainer.
as suggested by Prateesh , with the help of audio cable , i connected my transmitter with PC.
i also download PPjoy software for connecting audio cable with PC and when i connected it was detected .
but now the problem is..
1. it is not responding on calibration.
2. no stick movement detection on moving the sticks and sometimes slight random movement detected.
2. as i connects my transmitter with PC , transmitter shows the signals of low battery even the battery is fully charged.
there is a problem with transmitter...
all of the channels are working fine but Display is not working due to reverse connections with battery accidentally (tried my best to find the problem self and with the help of forum members but all in vain).
Is it affecting the simulator?
plz :help: :help:

Aditya, I use my futaba 7c as a simulator in the same manner you are trying (i.e cable from the PC audio port) and it works fine.
However, I'd suggest you to be careful with it if it's not working properly. One of my friends tried the same thing and ended-up with a fried HD audio port. Eventually he had to change the complete motherboard!

hi mate.
if you connected the battery wrong in the tx then don't use it untill it's been sorted .for flying etc or sim as this will finish it and may be the computer also.
regards
don
