Dear all, i have a vulcan irc nitro racing buggy. i suspect the radio has gone bonkers and i have no way of finding whether it is working or not. Can i use radio of another racing car/heli that i have inser the vulcan buggy crystal into it and try to check whether it works or not. kindly advise as i have no one in my area who is into RC cars/trucks/helis. Mr anwar i think your comments would assist me a lot.

Dear Mr. Anwar, thank you for the link but the matters in the post went way above my head as i am a non technical person.

Most surface radios are 27Mhz AM ones, so there are good chances that you can use one of the other car radios by matching the crystals.

Please be aware of possible differences between the radios; like the new 2.4Ghz radios, number of channels (more is OK) etc.

But for now regarding replacing one radio with another topic and the subsequent answer u provided. please guide me i have the following cars.which would u suggest i try to exchange the crystals with for my vulcan.

Sorry for all the trouble I also happen to have the E-sky Belt CP, Falcon 400 helis.

All of them seem to be 2-channel AM radios and the Vulcan is also the same, so any one should work.
