Title: Lipo for FS-CT6B
Post by: bentom_1 on December 08, 2013, 08:17:45 PM
Hi Guys, I got the FS-CT6B tx along with my skysurfer RTF last year. However the cost of feeding it batteries has led me to explore the option of connecting a Lipo instead. So if anyone has any experience on this front, it will be greatly appreciated. Is there any Lipo out there that can fit into this particular tx slot so that the battery compartment can still close? Will this Lipo Fit- http://www.rcbazaar.com/products/1958-avionic-lipo-for-rcb7x-and-spektrum-dx7.aspx ? Thanks and God bless

In my opinion go for NIMH batteries. there are lot of fried TX stories bcoz of Lipos.
Go for Godrej power GP ultra batteries. 2300mah comes for 270rs a pair available at flipkart. mine is just 1600mah and it lasts good enough for a days flying.

well I am using 1600 MAh AA size NiMH battries on my FS 6ch set.  Have now ordered for a 1450 MAh lippo from HK.  The lippo is still to come as the package has been shipped yesterday.  I been happier with my AA batteries but has heard of a lot of success stories of the lippo and so decided to switch over.  Hope it goes well... and leaves me better satisfied.

One drawback with Nimh is their charging time. 10+ hours. but they are safe for TX.
